Lonesomeville is an artist studio specializing in decorative clay arts, textiles, garden design, interior design, and original works of art. Our studio was created around the original Blampede farmstead of the Woodstock neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. Built in the late 19th century, the original farmhouse, outbuildings, and barn of the Blampede Farm are the heart of Lonesomeville.
The house and acre grounds were condemned and slated for demolition and redevelopment when we found her 30 years ago. Even in that sad condition, it was love at first sight and we felt she deserved better. We have spent the ensuing 30 years carefully creating this world around her. We believe now, as we did then, that this place is our muse. She sings to all of us every day.
Our Story
This is also a place to stay. We are thrilled to share Lonesomeville with you. The Inn features a two-bedroom suite in the farmhouse, with a private entrance, sunporch living room, and mezzanine library with a gas fireplace. All woodworking and artwork were designed and created by Lonesomeville Studio.
Come and experience the wonder for yourself.

We hope the art we create here reflects the beauty that surrounds us and inspires us every day. We are grateful to this place and express our gratitude by designing, drawing, and constructing every detail of the gardens and the structures themselves – nothing is overlooked.
We see this place as both the inspiration for and the expression of our art.
